Hi Everyone!
With another doctor visit under my belt, I am hoping for a better outcome. I have started a new regiment of antibiotics because the old ones just weren't doing the trick. My Dr. says "Cheer up Critter I am going to make you better!" I believe him, he is a man of faith and I am blessed that he has a healing touch in medicine.
I have learned alot since this process started about myself, family, friends and life period. It has all been a challenge with the ups and downs of this disease and the way people treat me. I learned that alot of people say they understand and truth is they wouldn't understand unless they had it to. People you thought were your friends turning their backs to you, even family. It makes the down part of this disease or any chronic disease a lesson learned.
Even with all the down parts, I think the ups weigh so much more. The upside to this disease is that I learned I am strong and a fighter. I will not give up on my health, my family, friends or life. These are the things that lift me out of bed when I am in agony from the pain. Those are the things that make my life worth everything. I have been positive this entire time because I knew a long time ago something was really wrong and I grieved for a life that I had not even lost yet. I came out a better person and so much stronger than I was before. It has made me stand up and speak up when someone treats me badly or with no respect. It makes me fight everyday to survive Lyme Disease and Lupus at the same time. Its a battle, and I will win the war!
With angels by my side and a loyal team of supporters I will be able to push through and help others like myself as well. I can't tell you how many people I have helped in the short period of time that I have known about Chronic Lyme Disease. I have a passion for helping and caring for others. I really wanted to be a nurse and one day I hope to complete that goal. To all the people I have helped just remember I am always here for you no matter what and I will always have your back and be in your corner to help you fight.
Together we will beat Chronic Lyme Disease! I hope that all the people out there educate themselves by reading up on Lyme Disease. Everyone you know could benefit from having that knowledge. In the last week I have educated a dozen people on Lyme Disease and they have never even heard of it before. Lyme is a silent epidemic and we all need to pull together to make things happen. This is why we formed Lyme Branch a place were someone can turn to when they need help.
Lyme Branch will be successful because we care and we genuinely want to help others. This has turned out to be my calling in life and I plan to follow this dream till the end of time.
So BRANCH OUT. BITE BACK. SAVE A LIFE.

So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.” 19 And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.” 20 And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. 21 And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23 And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!” 25 And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” 26 And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, “He is dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. 28 And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” 29 And he said to them, “This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.”
